Pertemps are exclusively representing a leading shop fitting business who are looking for a skilled wood machinist! They specialise in bespoke design and manufacturing, crafting high-quality hardwood joinery, architectural metalwork, and custom bronze or stainless-steel doors and frames.
You will be responsible for machining various types of timber to meet customer specifications, working within a small, skilled team to uphold our high standards. Your role will involve operating the following machines:
- Panel saw
- Cross-cut saw
- Multi-rip saw
- 6-block moulder planer
- Spindle moulders
- Wide belt sander
- Surfacer
Your duties will include:
- Operating a CNC router
- Ensuring precision and quality in all machining tasks
- Working efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations
