We are looking for a skilled shopfitting metalworker to join our client's small, collaborative team. You will produce custom-made architectural metalwork, including:

  • Shopfronts
  • Canopies
  • Staircases
  • Other bespoke metal structures

You will work with a variety of materials and machinery to meet specific client requirements:

  • Brass
  • Bronze
  • Aluminium
  • Stainless & mild steel (1.2-6mm thick)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Positive attitude
  • Good under pressure
  • Able to manage multiple jobs at once
  • Experience with band saws (vertical & horizontal)
  • Experience with pedestal drills
  • Welding and brazing (preferred but not essential)
