We are looking for a skilled shopfitting metalworker to join our client's small, collaborative team. You will produce custom-made architectural metalwork, including:
- Shopfronts
- Canopies
- Staircases
- Other bespoke metal structures
You will work with a variety of materials and machinery to meet specific client requirements:
- Brass
- Bronze
- Aluminium
- Stainless & mild steel (1.2-6mm thick)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Positive attitude
- Good under pressure
- Able to manage multiple jobs at once
- Experience with band saws (vertical & horizontal)
- Experience with pedestal drills
- Welding and brazing (preferred but not essential)
