Are you an experienced Management Accountant seeking your next opportunity? A well-established manufacturing company is looking for a talented and driven Management Accountant. Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting accurate monthly management accounts for the business and its subsidiaries.
- Ensuring compliance with purchasing and payment procedures.
- Supporting the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies.
- Overseeing junior finance staff as required.
- Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reports.
- Assisting in financial and stock audits.
- Performing bank account and wages reconciliations.
- Supporting credit control and payroll functions.
- Preparing cash flow forecasts and monthly VAT returns.
- Contributing to the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Providing financial support to the subsidiary business.
- Supporting the Senior Management Team in the absence of the Finance Director.
- Handling ad-hoc financial tasks as required.
Role Expectations
- All financial reporting is delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Daily reconciliation of all bank accounts.
- Monthly reconciliation of all ledgers.
- Timely and accurate invoice processing.
- Prompt escalation of discrepancies to the Finance Director.
- Part Qualified – AAT, ACCA, or CIMA is required.
The ideal Management Accountant will have experience in process improvements, streamlining processes, and challenging when necessary.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am – 4:30 pm, with additional benefits.
