We are currently recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) Warehouse Operatives to work within a large, well-established warehouse operation, including duties in the coil bay area.
Available Roles
- Counterbalance FLT Days β Warehouse Operative (3 Positions)
Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off
Hours: 06:00 β 18:00
Pay rate: Β£13.59 per hour - Counterbalance FLT Afternoons β Warehouse Operative (1 Position)
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
Hours: 14:00 β 22:00
Pay rate: Β£13.59 per hour
Essential / Preferred Requirements
- Industry-recognised Counterbalance FLT qualification (RTITB / ITSSAR / AITT or equivalent) β strongly preferred
- Willingness to undertake additional training on a 16 Tonne Counterbalance FLT to obtain a B3 licence
- Ability to work in the coil bay area on a rota basis
- Previous experience operating Counterbalance FLTs in an industrial or warehouse environment is highly desirable
- A strong focus on health & safety at all times
- Candidates who already hold a valid B3 licence will be at a clear advantage.
Site Visit Opportunity
Candidates who have previously attended site but have not visited the coil bay area may request a return visit. This will allow you to:
- View the coil bay working environment
- See the Counterbalance FLT equipment
- Gain a clearer understanding of the role and responsibilities
PPE Requirements
Full PPE is required to enter the coil bay area: Safety shoes and hi-viz are required to access the site. Hair nets, safety glasses, ear defenders, and bump caps will be provided on site.
