Are you a natural people leader who thrives on keeping things running smoothly? Do you love guiding a team, smashing targets and making transport compliance less… well, boring? Then we\\\’ve got just the role for you!

We\\\’re on the lookout for a Team Leader to join our client\\\’s buzzing Operations Team. You\\\’ll be co-leading our Vehicle Compliance crew (around 20 team members on different working terms) alongside another experienced Team Leader. For the first 6 months, you\\\’ll be fully office-based (5 days a week). After that, it\\\’s hybrid: Tuesday to Thursday in the office, with Monday and Friday from home. This is a permanent role with a salary of £40,000 plus a cracking benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Drive your team to hit KPIs
  • Coach, guide and inspire individuals to be the best they can be
  • Share transport compliance know-how (O Licence, PMI, Tachograph Calibrations… the works)
  • Run performance reviews and annual appraisals like a pro
  • Build morale, recognise achievements and keep the team motivated
  • Lead by example and live the company values daily
  • Be the go-to person for internal customers and ensure drivers have a great experience
  • Represent the department in wider team meetings and manage short and long-term projects

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years\\\’ experience managing a large and diverse team
  • Solid knowledge of transport compliance (essential)
  • Experience dealing with customer care situations
  • CPC qualification would be a bonus, but not a dealbreaker
