Part time HGV Class 1 Driver £16.00 – £18.00 per hour. Based in Solihull area for a global logistics provider, ad-hoc shifts, Mainly afternoons / nights. The role will be 2-3 deliveries & collections to and from local manufacturing plants & suppliers. No handball involved. Temporary ongoing Information about the HGV Class 1 Driver role: Regular part time day work No Handball Curtain sided trailers Sequenced time crucial deliveries locally Based near Junction 4 M42 HGV Class 1 Driver rates of pay & hours: Operation runs Monday to Friday – flexibility with working days required Occasional Monday night shifts and ad-hoc afternoons Start times anything from 13:30 onwards Occasional overtime £16.00 per hour Hours days £18.00 per hour nights No break deduction Requirements for the HGV Class 1 Driver role: Valid CE Licence held for at least 12 months Valid CPC & Digi tacho card Flexibility to undertake additional days / runs at the customer’s request Flexibility to extend daily hours in the event of driver absence Commitment to an ongoing part time role To complete a practical driving assessment and SSOW induction Drug & alcohol test upon registration Working for Pertemps as a HGV Class 1 Driver you will benefit from the following:- Weekly pay via BACS every Friday Paid annual leave Uniform CPC / Driver training Access to our Pertemps Driver Academy/Training Division 24 Hour contact with local consultants PLEASE CLICK APPLY
