Monday to Friday – 07:00 to 15:30 (07:00 to 13:00 on Fridays)
Up to £14 per hour
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Grinder & Deburrer to join a well-established machining and fabrication specialist based in the B33 area of Birmingham.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for using a 4-axis angle grinder to dress mild steel and aluminium welds, preparing parts for powder coating. You\’ll be working as part of a skilled team producing high-quality fabricated components.
Key Responsibilities:
Grinding, deburring, and dressing welds on mild steel and aluminium
Preparing components for powder coating
Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
Working from job sheets and verbal instructions
Using hand tools and power tools confidently and safelyRequirements:
Proven experience as a Grinder/Deburrer
Competent with 4-axis angle grinders
Experience with mild steel and aluminium
Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
Knowledge of fabrication processes is desirableHours & Pay:
Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
Pay up to £14.00 per hour, depending on experienceBenefits:
