We are seeking a semi-skilled CNC Machine Operator for a leading manufacturer in Birmingham. Our client is a leading company specialising in manufacturing precious metals.

The right candidate will have experience working as a CNC operator, operating and maintaining computer numerically controlled machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating CNC machines such as Fanuc and Mazak for milling and turning operations.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Adjust settings to optimise production output and quality.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Plan & specify tooling requirements, including jigs and fixtures, tool changes and amendments including offset adjustments.
  • Produce components within drawing tolerances/limits.
  • Use measuring equipment such as verniers and callipers to maintain precision.
Requirements:
  • Competently operating CNC turners and milling machines.
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience operating computerised machinery.
  • Experience using a range of measuring tools and equipment.
  • Computer literate and experience using Microsoft Office programme.
  • Produce accurate high-quality components.
Shift Details:
  • Monday - Thursday: 06:45am - 15:50pm
  • Friday: 06:45am - 12:30pm
  • Overtime opportunities available.
