We are seeking a semi-skilled CNC Machine Operator for a leading manufacturer in Birmingham. Our client is a leading company specialising in manufacturing precious metals.
The right candidate will have experience working as a CNC operator, operating and maintaining computer numerically controlled machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating CNC machines such as Fanuc and Mazak for milling and turning operations.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
- Adjust settings to optimise production output and quality.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Plan & specify tooling requirements, including jigs and fixtures, tool changes and amendments including offset adjustments.
- Produce components within drawing tolerances/limits.
- Use measuring equipment such as verniers and callipers to maintain precision.
- Competently operating CNC turners and milling machines.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience operating computerised machinery.
- Experience using a range of measuring tools and equipment.
- Computer literate and experience using Microsoft Office programme.
- Produce accurate high-quality components.
- Monday - Thursday: 06:45am - 15:50pm
- Friday: 06:45am - 12:30pm
