Pertemps are currently recruiting for multiple Site Operatives to join a leading wet room installation company based near Basingstoke. This is a full time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as a Site Operative:
- Install tilebacker board, drainage systems, shower floor build up and waterproofing membranes to bathrooms
- Working on construction projects in London and the South East of England
- Working as part of an installation team
- Deliver a professional service to customers
- Take a proactive approach to Health & Safety standards
- Complete paperwork and administrative tasks relating to the project
- Work closely with supervisors to ensure projects run smoothly and to help with problem solving when necessary
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving licence
- Experience working on construction sites
- Confident with a variety of hand tools
- Interest in installation
- Confidence in dealing with customers and suppliers
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry
The Site Operative role:
- Varied hours of 40 – 48 hours per week
- Early start times from 6am onwards
- Salary of £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Company wide bonus schemes
