Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join a leading Manufacturing business based in Ryde, Isle of Wight. Our client is looking for the successful candidate to lead the manufacturing team and create an excellent team dynamic.
Responsibilities as a Production Manager:
- Manage workload for production staff
- Ensure targets are met and monitor performance
- Resolve first line H&S and HR issues
- Upskill and train staff
- Ensure production quality is to a high standard
- Ensure production is working in line with ISO standards
- Motivate and inspire the team
Requirements:
- Previous production experience
- Proven experience leading a team
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and H&S standards
- Hands-on approach
The Role:
- Negotiable salary depending on experience
- 24 days plus bank holidays
- 8am - 4.45pm with a 2.45pm finish on a Friday
