Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver Basingstoke From £16.95 Per Hour Pertemps are currently recruiting for HGV 1 Drivers to join a leading global provider of international logistics and supply chain solutions company based in Basingstoke. This role will start on an ad hoc basis, but can lead to a more permanent role going forward Duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver: – Delivering goods to stores across the south of UK – Operating Curtain sided vehicle – Carrying heavy items into customer premises – Building a good relationship with the customers – Regular routes will be available – Ensuring deliveries are delivered in a timely and professional manner Requirements for this Class 2 HGV Driving role: – Must be physically fit for this role as heavy lifting will be involved on deliveries – UK Driving Licence (Max. 6pts) – HGV Class 1 Qualification – CPC/Digi Tacho – Safety Boots & Hi-Vis (Provided if needed) More about the Role – £16.95ph PAYE starting plus overtime – Start time Between 5am – 7am or 5pm – Average of 5-10 drops per day – Monday to Friday shifts when needed To find out more about this role, contact Paul in the Pertemps Basingstoke office or alternatively apply online
