Van Driver / Warehouse Operative in Basingstoke

Immediate start - Temp to Perm
Pertemps are recruiting for a Van Driver to start work on behalf of a Pipework Supply company in Basingstoke. This is a temporary to permanent contract; you will temp for 12 weeks then be offered a permanent contract, performance dependent.
More about the role:
- £12.80 per hour standard rate.
- 5 shifts a week Monday to Friday
- £19.20 for overtime (anything over 40 hours)
- 08:00 – 17:00 Shift times
You will be responsible for supporting in the warehouse as well as delivering goods to customers, primarily around the South, Southeast and London areas.
Duties of a Van Driver/ Warehouse Operative:
- Picking and Packing orders to go to dispatch
- Cutting pipes to size (full training to be given)
- Delivering a variety of products to customers around the region, with primary focus on London
- Building good relationships with customers upon delivery
- Ensuring safety of vehicle
- Ensuring you stick to the pre-planned routes given to you when you start shift
Requirements for this Van Driver Role:
- Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)
