Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator / Setter to join a leading Engineering business based in Andover. This will be a 4 β 10 week contract with an immediate start date.
CNC Operator Responsibilities:
- Perform all functions on the CNC machine including setup, operation and maintenance
- Using the 3/5 axis mills
- Working to tight deadlines and complex customer specifications
- Work closely with other team members to ensure that all work orders are completed on time
- Read and understand technical specifications
- Identify tooling, work holding method and devices for production of the components
Requirements:
- Previous CNC experience
- Previous experience setting up and operating 3/5 axis mills
- Disciplined approach to manufacturing and component quality
- Self-sufficient and able to work with little supervision
- Experience on Fanuc is desirable
- Ability to understand technical specifications
The CNC Operator / Setter Role:
- Immediate Start
- Based in Andover
- Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 1pm
- Β£18 - Β£21 per hour depending on experience
