Please note: Due to the rural location of the site, having your own transport is essential.
Job Overview:
As a CNC Router Operative, you will be responsible for operating CNC routing machinery to precisely cut and shape PVC components used in fencing systems. Working from technical drawings and job specifications, you'll ensure components meet high-quality production standards. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate 2-axis CNC router machines (PC controlled)
- Use PVC bending machines, and perform basic screwing and gluing tasks
- Interpret technical drawings and job orders accurately
- Select and prepare appropriate tools and materials
- Inspect finished products for quality and precision
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC routers, ideally within plastics or PVC
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Basic mechanical skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of safety procedures and workshop practices
- Reliable team player with a strong work ethic
