Pertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager for our client within the Distribution Industry. This role is responsible for daily activities across functions including Spare Parts, Sales & Services Administration, Warehouse, H&S and Facilities.
Salary: up to 50,000 (DOE)
Hours: 8am-5pm
Duties:
- Promoting and developing internal systems to ensure all customers and suppliers details are kept up to date.
- Assisting senior management in setting goals that promote company growth.
- Preparing budgets, schedules, and other reports when needed.
- Managing the after sales function.
- Driving the profitability of the company products by recommending cost-reducing initiatives, whilst maintaining productivity.
- Developing plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Providing weekly and/or monthly reports on agreed KPIs.
- Taking responsibility for the company product lines.
- Promoting and enforcing safety in the workplace.
- Collaborating closely with other departments to promote efficiency.
Requirements:
- Team leader experience: 3 years.
- Experience working in an office/warehousing environment.
- Possess strong leadership and management skills.
- Your own transport due to location.
