H&S Coordinator – Bedfordshire Pertemps Aylesbury is currently recruiting for an H&S Coordinator to join our client based in Bedfordshire. This role will cover a variety of sites in Bedfordshire. Hours: 9 am-5 pm Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 Duties: Encouraging a culture of safety excellence and compliance across the group and promoting safe working practices, to ensure the wellbeing of our students, staff, and visitors. Supporting the Head of Health and Safety/Health and Safety Advisor in managing, developing, and promoting health and safety policies and procedures to meet the company objectives to deliver high standards of health, safety, and welfare. Providing professional health and safety advice and guidance to line managers and the senior management team, in terms of monitoring health and safety standards in their areas, and to recognise and understanding their H & S responsibilities and obligations. Continuously improving standards in line with legislative changes and best practices. Working with the Health and Safety Advisor, ensuring our control systems are continuously monitored, inspected, and audited to assure the group and Executive Corporation board that health and safety compliance is effective and sustainable. Working with the Health and Safety Advisor, implementing an annual schedule of internal health & safety audits and inspections across all departments, producing written reports on remedial actions, and ensuring practical, cost-effective solutions.
