Health & Safety Manager – Northampton Pertemps is looking for an experienced H&S professional to join our client based in Northampton. This role will be pivotal in driving a positive health and safety culture across our site influencing staff daily. This role will be a stone-alone role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. Salary: £38,740.00 – £43,652 (DOE) Hours: 9am-5pm Duties: Implementing a positive culture of Health & Safety. To raise awareness of Health & Safety across the company and to promote safe working practices at all times. To monitor all reported incidents and accidents, complete investigations as required, ensuring all reporting requirements have been completed and action is taken if appropriate. To ensure that the Accident computer-based recording system is maintained and reports are generated. To ensure a proactive approach and compliance with health and safety legislation. To liaise with and cooperate with the company insurers. To liaise with external agencies such as HSE, Fire Authority, Environment Agency and Environmental Health. To carry out regular safety audits and inspections.
