Job Description
The Senior Clinical Project Manager (CPJM) is responsible for managing all aspects of clinical projects, from start-up to close-out, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The Senior Clinical Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful service design, implementation, and completion of clinical projects.
As a senior member of the team, they will coach and mentor junior team members, driving process improvements, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the CPJM/Pharma operations function.
This role requires strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, as well as an understanding of ICH guidelines, GCP, and relevant regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects from start up through to close out effectively. Ensuring a hands-on monitoring, adopting a positive and proactive approach.
- Support the CPJM team with study management and day-to-day operations.
- Proactively identify potential operational challenges and escalation to relevant stakeholders. Make suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and maintain relevant study documentation.
- Support and manage monthly budgeting for ongoing projects.
- Proactively collaborate with internal departments to understand all aspects of Perspectum services and capabilities, ensure smooth running of projects including out of scope work.
- Manage interactions between key project stakeholders and building strong internal and external partnerships.
- Manage and meet client expectations and deliverables.
- Manage and prioritise tasks across projects with competing deadlines and external pressure.
- Act as the public facing operational point of contact for assigned (and prospective) clinical projects.
- Ensure alignment between functional groups responsible for selling and delivering Perspectum’s Pharma Solutions products and services.
- Lead set up and coordinate teams for new contracted products and services. Provide expert advice in operations in the acquisition of new projects.
- Oversee and facilitate continuous improvement activities with regards to processes, workflow, service provision and communication.
- Ensure compliance with relevant requirements (ICH, GCP). Attend internal and external audits and address audit findings as needed.
- Deputising for management in the event of absence.
Desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in human sciences / biological sciences or similarly field.
- Experience in medical imaging and / or MR Physics.
- Experience leading a team with hands‑on approach.
- Experience working with Clinical Trial Management Systems.
