About The Role
As the Cardiac Physiology Lead, you will blend hands‑on clinical expertise with team leadership to elevate patient care across our cardiac pathways. Your duties will include:
- Lead, develop and mentor a growing team of Cardiac Physiologists to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
- Oversee day‑to‑day cardiac diagnostic operations, ensuring workflows are efficient, clinically robust and aligned with service demand.
- Maintain excellent quality assurance and governance processes for all cardiac diagnostics.
- Work collaboratively with cardiology, imaging, clinical teams and operational staff to optimise care pathways.
- Champion best practice, continuous learning, and operational excellence across the cardiac physiology service.
- Act with continuous improvement in mind to grow and develop the service.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is a Registered Cardiac Physiologist (or equivalent), with extensive experience in ECG, ECHO, Holter and related diagnostics. You will also:
- Have demonstrable leadership or senior practitioner experience.
- Ideally have NHS experience.
- Possess excellent organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Be passionate about improving patient outcomes and leading positive change.
- Enjoy working in a busy but supportive environment.
- Adopt a proactive attitude and continuously seek better ways to boost work.
