We’re a creative video production company in East London, with a team of 25 remarkably talented people who bring our branded projects to life.
We’ve created thousands of videos around the world, with everyone from start-ups to globally recognised retailers and icons such as RedBull, LEGO, Lululemon, Fujifilm, & Adobe. We specialise in creating digital-first, social-first content for brands, from TikTok videos to Netflix documentaries.
In essence, we do one thing – create the absolute best, most engaging video content for brands to post on the internet.
Position Overview:
As a Production and Post-Production Sound Designer & Engineer at Perspective Pictures, you will play a crucial role in shaping the auditory elements of our projects from start to finish. You will collaborate closely with the rest of our team to enhance the overall quality of our work through exceptional sound design and production. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your skills to a wide range of projects, industries, and clients allowing you to expand your portfolio and grow as a professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Sound: Work on set with our production team to capture high-quality audio on set including dialogue, foley, and ambient sound.
- Post-Production Sound: Take the raw audio captured on set and transform it into polished sound tracks through editing, mixing, and sound effects creation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with directors, editors, and other team members to ensure the audio aligns seamlessly with a project’s creative vision.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of audio quality and consistency in all deliverables.
- Audio Innovation: Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative sound design techniques to our projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in both production and post-production sound.
- Proficiency and understanding of ProTools and other industry standard software.
- Competency in on set and field recording.
- Proven experience as a Sound Designer and MixEngineer.
- An understanding of different project requirements across various media (e.g. longform, shortform, commercial, corporate, broadcast).
- Knowledge of audio plugins.
