We have a fantastic vacancy for a Paraplanner to join our Chesham or Rickmansworth Office. This is an integral and varied role and your experience in providing high quality support will be invaluable to the whole team. You will work closely with our Financial Planners by providing technical support in the process of servicing our Clients’ Financial Advice needs, instinctively providing excellent standards of client service, and conduct detailed research on clients’ existing and potential arrangements. After assessing these against the client’s financial objectives, you will produce timely and compliant Financial Planning Reports. The successful candidate will need to be motivated, friendly and professional at all times.

Office: Perspective (Home Counties) Limited
Location: Chesham or Rickmansworth
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm with a one hour break (35 hours)
Salary: Competitive dependant on experience and qualifications. Available upon request.

Job Requirements
  • Experience in a Financial Advice firm and Paraplanner/reporting skills is essential.
  • Diploma qualified is desirable, though candidates with relevant skills and experience to do the job will be considered.
  • Reliable individual with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to produce business correspondence that is grammatically correct and proof‑read with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent organisational skills, multi‑tasking abilities and ability to cope with change.
Job Responsibilities
  • Write Financial Planning Reports for our Advisers to present to clients.
  • Support Advisers by conducting research on products and helping find the right solutions for our clients.
  • Assisting with reviews and requests, acting as a point of contact for our clients’ day-to-day queries.
  • Arranging for plans to be submitted to company providers.
  • Maintain client records on company software, ensuring all files are well-presented, accurate and compliant.
  • Prepare client review packs and conduct Illustration requests.
  • Keep up to date with financial products and legislation.
  • Comply with all firm and industry guidelines, rules and regulations.

Due to the nature of the business, the role may also include additional responsibilities considered reasonable.
