We have a fantastic vacancy for an experienced receptionist to join our expanding team in Chorley. This is a multi-faceted role and your experience in providing high quality office support in a busy and professional environment will be invaluable to the whole team. You will act as the point for colleagues and clients, both over the phone and in person, as well as liaising with product providers and supporting the team with all aspects of the general office administration.
Job Requirements
- You will need to be motivated, friendly and professional at all times and able to hold conversations with third parties, representing the company in a professional manner.
- You will also be skilled in, or have the ability to learn:
- Confident with IT and Microsoft office software packages, especially Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads.
- Excellent planning, organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to produce concise business correspondence, proofread for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Flexibility/adaptability to cope with change.
- A team player with a positive attitude.
Job Responsibilities
- Taking phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them where appropriate.
- Back-office support.
- Welcoming and seating clients in the meeting rooms.
- Dealing and handling the post.
- Proofreading and sending relevant documents and reports.
Due to the nature of the business, the role may also include additional responsibilities considered reasonable.
