We are currently looking for an experienced Adviser to join our team in Southend-on-Sea. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge in providing clients with first‑class advice in line with the FCA regulations, ensuring a brilliant service.
Office: Perspective (Goldwyns Wealth Management)
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm with a one‑hour break (35 hours)
Salary: Competitive dependant on experience and qualifications. Available upon request.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide clients with holistic financial planning and advice and make suitable recommendations on how to best meet their goals and financial objectives.
- Research the marketplace for available products and services, identify clients’ needs, design financial strategies and gain commitment from clients to proceed with recommendations.
- Provide first‑class financial planning and advice to both existing and prospective clients.
- Provision of strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services (pensions, investments and savings, protection).
- Assess clients’ financial circumstances, understand their needs and develop a comprehensive financial plan.
- Make recommendations to clients that meet their goals and ambitions.
- Deliver annual reviews to clients on an ongoing service proposition.
- Ensure all financial planning and advice is provided in line with the requirements of the FCA, including focus on consumer duty and ensuring compliance with all other relevant industry rules and regulations.
- Cultivate the client base and build relationships.
- Drive organic growth through generation of new clients and identifying new advice opportunities with existing clients.
- Keep abreast of new industry developments and research the market to ensure knowledge is current.
- Keep up to date with financial products and legislation.
- Ensure compliance with all requirements of an FCA certified function holder.
- Ensure CPD is completed on a rolling 12‑month basis to the required standard and is sufficient and appropriate for the areas in which you are certified to provide advice and kept up to date at all times.
- Maintain performance standards in accordance with Consumer Duty outcomes and those outlined in the Key Performance Indicators section of the Training and Competence procedures.
- Ensure that SPS via a recognised body is maintained at all times.
