Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join their talented kitchen team in the heart of Dartmoor. Working as part of a team of 7 chefs, this is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a high-standard, fresh food environment and is looking to develop within a professional brigade.
The Role
- 5-day working week
- Straight shifts only
- Typical hours: 12:00 midday - 9:00/10:00pm
- Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Training and developing junior chefs
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and organisation
What We're Looking For
- Previous fine dining experience essential
- AA 2 Rosette experience preferred
- Strong health & safety and food hygiene awareness
- Calm, organised, and professional under pressure
- Patience and leadership skills to train and mentor junior chefs
- Passion for quality ingredients and high standards
