Vehicle Technician

Personnel Solutions are hiring for a long-established, family-run car dealership with a strong reputation for honesty, quality, and excellent customer service. We’re looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their friendly workshop team.

The Role

You’ll carry out a variety of workshop tasks, including :

• General servicing and maintenance on retail and stock vehicles
• Conducting VHC\’s on all new stock
• Cam belt and timing belt replacements
• Vehicle preparation work for sale

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Technician qualification
• Solid experience in servicing and general mechanical repairs
• Experience with cambelts and prep work is essential
• MOT Tester qualification not required, but desirable
• Hybrid / EV knowledge not essential, but desirable
• Someone reliable, hardworking, and able to work well in a small, supportive team

What We Offer

• Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience and qualifications
• Monday–Friday working hours (no weekends)
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, with one extra day added each year for long service
• Basic tools provided (you’re welcome to use your own if preferred)
