Personnel Solutions are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Communications Officer to join our client based in Mansfield, NG18. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the organisation's public image and ensuring effective communication both internally and externally. This position requires a strong understanding of marketing, social media and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is intended to be a 6-month maternity cover with potential for extension. Hours/Salary - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm £25,500pa.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the organisation's goals.
- Manage media relations, including drafting press releases, responding to media inquiries, and coordinating events.
- Create compelling content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and the company website.
- Monitor and analyse media coverage to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Organise events and campaigns that promote the organisation's initiatives and values.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, partners, and the general public.
- Proven experience within journalism, social media, e-commerce.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms for professional purposes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
