Personnel Solutions are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality care for our client in Hornsea (HU18). The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care settings, including assisted living and nursing homes, and have some leadership experience.. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that residents receive personalised care tailored to their individual needs, while also supervising staff and coordinating care plans. * Hours to be discussed * £31k – £35k (including annual bonus) Responsibilities – * Manage the day to day delivery of a high quality, evidence-based person centred, holistic care incorporating meaningful activities for people living with mental health conditions. * Maintain up to date knowledge of best practice and developments. * Oversee staffing levels to ensure that appropriate levels of staff are maintained, taking appropriate action in the event of any gaps in service. * Maintain up to date and accurate records in compliance with Information Governance. * Practice within the guidance and legal framework of CQC Regulations and the Essential standards of Quality and Safety, Infection Control, Medication and Confidentiality, and National Medical Council’s standards and guidance. * Ensure Information Governance and confidentiality is adhered to at all times Skills/Qualifications – * Qualification in Dementia, mental health or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Current registration not essential. * Management qualification or post-qualifying award Diploma Level 5 or working towards (or equivalent) in health care * Diploma level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care * Management or supervisory role within care home * Specialist skills and experience in dementia / mental health * People management skills including best practice in recruitment, selection and performance management * Strong decision making and problem solving skills * Conducting service reviews and report writing * Good level of IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, internet based packages) * Development and measurement of Quality Assurance systems Benefits – * Annual Bonuses * Mileage paid over 5 miles * Life insurance * Company pension in place * Meals provided * 24/7 free counselling service * On site car park * Refer a friend scheme of up to £250 each To apply for the Care Manager position, please do so online and a member of the team will be in touch
