Class 2 HGV Driver - Southampton
£18.78 per hour | £36,500 per year | Permanent | Monday to Friday
We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team in Southampton on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver, and newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply. The right candidate will be offered a permanent position.
The Role
- £18.78 per hour
- £36,500 per annum
- 42 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 5:00am and 7:00am
- Average shift of approximately 10 hours
- Multi-drop deliveries
- Deliveries completed with the support of a Driver's Mate
- Permanent position for the successful applicant
- You will be required to handle and deliver alcohol, so applicants must be comfortable working with alcohol products
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (C) driving licence
- New passes accepted
- Maximum 6 points on your licence
- No DR, DD or IN endorsements
- Reliable, professional and customer-focused
- Comfortable with multi-drop work and early starts
- Physically fit and able to assist with deliveries where required
