Overview
PS LTD are looking for a Casting Operative to join our client in Doncaster, South Yorkshire (DN5).
Responsibilities
- As a Pre Casting Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process by using your mechanical knowledge and sheet metal expertise to prepare components for casting.
- Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will apply skills in fabrication, grinding, and welding.
- Carry out tasks such as pouring products into moulds, mixing concrete, and quality checking outputs to ensure they meet customer specifications.
What we’re looking for
- This role requires the ability to confidently use hand tools for assembly tasks, supported by basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
