The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join our team, with a choice of afternoon or night shifts available.
The work involves trunking from the main mail centre to local delivery offices across the East Midlands.

What Does the Job Involve?
Trunking from the main mail centre to local delivery offices.
Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
Completing scheduled routes across the East Midlands.
Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are completed safely.
Working a 5-out-of-7 shift pattern.
No multidrop deliveries – this is trunking work between mail centres and local delivery offices.
Pay Rates & Shifts
You can choose which shift best suits you:
Afternoon shifts: From £23.38 per hour.
Night shifts: £26.02 per hour.
Both shift options operate on a 5-out-of-7 pattern.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
A full, valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
A minimum of 1 year's Class 2 driving experience.
No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
No new passes – previous commercial Class 2 driving experience is essential.
A professional attitude and commitment to safe driving.
The ability to pass a driving assessment and DBS check.
Recruitment & Start Dates
Driving assessment slots are available from 3rd November.
Once you successfully pass your driving assessment, we will arrange your DBS check.
Your start date will be confirmed once your DBS check has been completed and returned.
