I am recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join a team on a temp to perm basis.
- Previous logistics experience with DHL, K&N, FedEx, or any 3PL or 4PL logistics service provider.
- Desired skills in freight forwarding, UK domestic ground, international air and ocean, customs documentation and terminology.
- Must have experience with the full Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Outlook365, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
Duties will include:
- Heavy Data Entry
- Logistics Shipping & Booking
- Freight Forwarding
- Sending Emails
- Taking Phone Calls
Experience required for this role:
- Operational experience in Freight forwarding logistics and International Supply Chain Management.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Power Point, Word, Excel & BI Tool (i.e. Tableau/Qlikview).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be versed on safety and compliance issues.
- Knowledge of transportation/warehouse management systems.
- High degree of logic, initiative, self-organisation and creativeness.
- Highly developed written, verbal, and inter-personal skills.
- Strong situational analysis and quickly solve problems.
This role is working Monday to Friday, working 8 hours per day, start time can be flexible between 7am & 9am - a fixed time can be agreed if successful. During training/probation, the expectation would be 5 days working in the office per week, but after that they can offer 2 days working from home per week.
DBS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE, WE CAN PROVIDE ONE AND THE COST WILL BE DEDUCTED OUT OF YOUR FIRST WEEK PAY. 5 YEARS WORK HISTORY REFERENCES ALSO REQUIRED.
