I am recruiting for an Operations Manager to meet and exceed customer and company expectations. You will be responsible for leading a team to ensure customer service is at the highest level and most efficient to meet working demands and targets.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security within the warehouse, ensuring that all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are adhered to and that appropriate controls are in place to ensure security of products within the site.
- Ensure a collaborative approach with the customer, identifying requirements, escalating any issues, concerns and or potential non-conformance with H&S on site.
- Drive a right first-time culture and address in a structured manner any non-compliance.
- Achieve and surpass quality SLA’s with ownership of action plans and adherence to timeframes.
- Work closely & in partnership with customer Quality team to drive the quality culture.
- Drive Continuous Improvement through auditing and robust reporting procedures, ensuring cost down via productivity & efficiency improvements.
- Monitor & own site costs, identifying any revenue leakage.
- Identify avenues to generate revenue and further organic growth.
- Attend monthly P&L sessions and hold accountability for day to day spend.
- Own cost out initiatives providing updates and robust communication.
- Provide appropriate management through effective planning, control, organisation, and communication to ensure all contractual KPI’s and SLA targets are achieved and surpassed.
- Maintain an optimal level of resource levels and operational efficiency at all times ensuring operational processes meet quality and service requirements.
- Create and maintain appropriate KPI’s. Ensure contractual KPI’s are achieved and surpassed. Investigate service failures across the operation and ensure appropriate remedial actions are put in place.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years operations management experience.
- Strong logistics background.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications such as MS Office Suite or specialised management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify trends, and implement strategic solutions.
- Leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Hours are Monday- Friday 8am- 4.30pm. DBS required for this role, we can provide one and the cost will be deducted out of your first week pay. 5 years work history references also required.
