We are looking to hire an experienced Quality Inspector for our client. This fast-paced manufacturing business runs numerous projects for clients in the UK and overseas, therefore the ability to manage multiple projects is essential. Working closely with the Production Manager, Purchasing and Design teams, you will ensure that the clients' specifications are met and quality metrics exceeded.
This Quality Inspector position is hands-on and could suit someone who is working in a similar role but keen to develop further into an inspector position. You will need to demonstrate a keen eye for detail and the ability to write and present reports to stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or within electronic assembly/manufacturing
- Knowledge of PCB assembly processes and electronic components
- IPC-A-610 certification desirable (training available)
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Experience with AOI and X-ray inspection equipment advantageous
