Personnel Selection Recruitment is seeking candidates that would like to become Inspection Assistants. You would be joining an established local client who are leaders in their field within the electronics industry. You will be valuable and key member of the team. As an Inspection Assistant, you will complete the test and inspection of customers PCB products, using a range of automated test equipment and visual inspection. The successful person will demonstrate a keen eye for detail, excellent team-work and the ability to handle small hand tools and inspection equipment. Whilst previous employment within the electronics industry would be ideal, we are also eager to also consider applicants who are new to electronics but have worked within an manufacturing or engineering environment before. Our client rewards their staff loyalty accordingly and this is a great environment if you are looking for an opportunity of recognition and career progression. Normal working hours will be 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 3.30pm Fridays. Full training is offered for the role, however you will need to meet the following requirements to be considered:- Ideally have worked as a Visual Inspector before in a engineering or manufacturing capacity. A keen willingness to learn new skills to advance the department and yourself. Happy to equipment with regards to testing and inspection. Strong attention to small details. Basic computer knowledge. Previous use of inspection equipment such as verniers, callipers or scopes for example would be ideal but not essential. Previous electronics experience would be advantageous but not essential. A positive and methodical approach to your work day. Work within strict company health and safety guidelines. A stable and dedicated work history.
