This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and passionate Sous Chef to join a well-established kitchen team within a characterful venue known for its welcoming atmosphere, elegant dining spaces and high-quality food offering. THE ROLE: Work under the guidance of the Executive Head Chef, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen. Help lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team. Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes across restaurant, private dining and event service. Maintain excellent standards of food presentation, consistency and kitchen organisation. Assist with ordering, stock control, GP awareness and waste management. Ensure food hygiene, health and safety standards are upheld at all times. SKILLS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED: You will already have experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef within a quality hotel, restaurant, pub or events environment. You will be confident, hands-on and calm under pressure. You will take pride in great food, strong service and a clean, organised kitchen. You will enjoy being part of a friendly team where standards matter and everyone supports one another. WHAT'S ON OFFER: £35,000 per annum. 48-hour working week. Share of GP bonus and tips. Live-in accommodation available. Working in a stunning historical venue. Free parking. Permanent position with a respected and prestigious hospitality client.
