Personnel Selection Recruitment are recruiting for one of our long term established clients based in Littlehampton UK. We are seeking a permanent Production Operative with a background in hands on machining environments. You will work a shift pattern of 6am-14:30pm and 14:00pm to 22:30pm - Monday to Friday.

Role Summary

This role supports day-to-day operational activity on the manufacturing floor. You will assist by helping to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standard. It involves operating machinery, monitoring output, following established procedures, and working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a smooth and effective work flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment and processes in line with approved procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Monitor quality by carrying out routine checks, identifying issues, and taking appropriate action to maintain standards.
  • Follow health and safety requirements at all times to support a safe working environment.
  • Resolve routine issues by identifying problems quickly and supporting the continuation of work with minimal disruption.
  • Carry out basic upkeep tasks to help keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and operational.
  • Support efficient output by working in a timely and organised way, while helping to reduce avoidable delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, issues identified, and actions taken, using the appropriate reporting methods.
  • Work collaboratively with others to support effective communication, shared responsibility, and a constructive team environment.
  • Follow organisational procedures and standards consistently and help reinforce them in day-to-day practice.
