Personnel Selection Recruitment are seeking a number of Welder Fabricators to join our established engineering client in Andover, Hampshire. These will be permanent roles depending on successful interview with our client. Salary will be £30,600 to start and after successful probation will rise to £31,703. This will be a Monday to Thursday day shift role working 9.25 hours a day, allowing for a long weekend with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off.
To be considered for the role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- MAG welding or strong understanding of it.
- Skilled in welding, polishing, and working with fine tolerances.
- Experience of cutting and metal preparation before welding.
- Happy to use tube bending and cutting machines.
- Assembly of products using any hand or power tools necessary.
- Strong team player with a "can do" attitude.
- Previous loyal employment in an engineering environment.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Experience with Oxy-Acetylene heating equipment and digital bevel gauges is ideal.
- Happy to work overtime if needed.
