Personnel Selection Recruitment are seeking hands-on Production and Assembly Operatives to work for our established client in Newhaven. Shift patterns available are AM=06:55am to 14:55pm or PM=14:45pm to 22:45pm.
We are interested to hear from candidates that can do either one shift pattern or are happy to alternate each week. Training is offered to the right candidates; however, you will need to meet the following requirements to be considered for the role:
- Previous Production / Assembly background preferred.
- Confident in the use of hand and small power tools.
- Previously operated machinery - Ideal but not essential.
- Able to work to instructions and diagrams.
- Strong eyesight and good attention to small details.
- Able to work at a fast pace when the requirement is needed.
- Happy to work in a manual role to include lifting and bending.
- Understanding of English language both written and verbal.
- Positive 'can do' attitude.
Job Function:
- Hands-on assembly using hand tools and associated equipment.
- Operation of production machinery.
- Assembly of light plastic or electronic items.
- Inspecting quality of work produced.
- Labelling and packing items for despatch.
