Personnel Selection Recruitment is helping secure a Multi-drop Delivery Driver / Fitter for one of our long term established clients based within Andover, Hampshire. Job Function As the Delivery and Fitter of our clients prestigious furniture products, you will be representing our clients company \”face to face\” with their customers. This is a great opportunity for someone to get out on the road and also work hands on with tools. This is a day shift Monday to Friday position and based on a standard 40 hour week. However, our client often has extremely busy periods where you could be away from home, working long hourly weeks so you will need to be prepared to be flexible with your start times and finish times during these spells. Any hours worked over 8 in a day will be paid and time and half. A brilliant opportunity if you are looking to top up the standard wages with premium rate overtime. Skills and Requirements Full, clean UK driving licence. – Able to drive up to 3.5tonne ( Luton Van ) Previous experience in multi-drop delivery runs. Ability to use hand and power tools. Friendly, presentable and professional demeanour. Able to work in environments dealing with large goods deliveries. Ability to accurately complete any paperwork / delivery notes for the customer. Happy to be bending, kneeling and lifting when installing goods. Ability to travel and sometimes stay away on installs all over the UK. Ensuring that the outgoing goods loading bay is kept clean and tidy. Always act in a professional manner when wearing the companies uniform. Ensuring that the vans are always kept clean and tidy. Making sure the company vehicle you are using is road worthy, reporting any issues. Ensuring that the toolboxes, spares etc. are not missing anything.
