Job Description
Personnel Selection Recruitment is seeking Clean Room Technician to join an established local client who are leaders in their field within the electronics industry. You will be valuable and key member of the team supporting the production of advanced electronic solutions for high-reliability industries including aerospace, defence, and medical industries. The successful person will demonstrate a keen eye for detail, excellent team-work and the ability to handle various tools and equipment within a Clean Room environment.
Whilst previous Clean Room experience is very beneficial, we are keen to hear from people who have similar experience within a manufacturing environment and transferable skills which can add value to our clients business.
Normal working hours Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00, Friday: 08:30 – 15:30
Qualifications Needed:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing/production environment, ideally within Electronics, Medical/Laboratory, Scientific or similar industry.
- Previous use of hand tools, microscopes or machinery would be advantageous.
- Clean Room experience is a distinct advantage but not essential.
- Able to plan and prioritise effectively.
- Natural problem solver.
- Analytical and strategic thinker.
- Computer literacy.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- A good attitude and work ethic
- The ability to always follow company procedures and precise work instructions
- Work collaboratively within your team and assist others where necessary
- Knowledge/Qualifications of the Electronics industry is desirable.
Duties as follows in brief:
- Set-up, operate and safely shut down items of clean room manufacturing equipment.
- Assemble die bonded and wire bonded microelectronic assemblies.
- Maintain accurate, clear and retrievable records of monitored production processes.
- Identify issues with process, product quality, user safety and take appropriate action to correct deviations.
- Ensure key equipment remains operational by working with the maintenance teams to ensure routine Daily, Weekly, Monthly maintenance tasks are met and recorded.
- Work with Microelectronics engineers to help develop manufacturing production processes and workflow
- Check kits for completeness before releasing for production build. Inspection of customer owned parts. Chase up and advise on shortages.
