Warehouse Distribution Operative in Bognor Regis

The Role

Working within a busy warehouse environment, you will support the smooth movement of goods in and out of the business.

The role will include packing, voice‑controlled picking, receiving deliveries, checking stock, preparing goods for dispatch and ensuring materials are stored safely and accurately.

Full induction and on‑site training will be provided by the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out packing duties accurately and efficiently, ensuring goods are prepared to the required standard.
• Use voice‑controlled picking systems to pick items correctly and support accurate order fulfilment.
• Receive inbound goods and materials, including unloading vehicles using appropriate handling equipment.
• Check deliveries against paperwork and ensure items are moved to the correct storage or stocking locations.
• Prepare outbound goods for shipment, ensuring items are labelled, packaged and checked accurately before dispatch.
• Load vehicles safely and efficiently, following correct handling procedures at all times.
• Accurately update warehouse systems and complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Move materials and components safely around the warehouse, using the correct equipment and wearing required PPE.
• Support stock accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock checks and reporting of any discrepancies.
• Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• What We’re Looking For
• Previous warehouse experience is essential.
• Experience in packing, picking, goods‑in, goods‑out, stores or logistics would be highly beneficial.
• A reliable approach, good timekeeping and a willingness to learn.
• A good eye for detail and the ability to work accurately with paperwork, stock information and warehouse systems.
• A practical, hands‑on approach and confidence working in a busy warehouse environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic, with safety, quality and accuracy in mind.
