Personnel Selection are assisting one of our clients in sourcing an additional Picker Packers based in Andover Hampshire. The selected candidates will be picking engineering parts and components from electronic pick lists. These roles have become available due to a rapid period of growth. Our client would like proactive and methodical operatives to assist their existing teams on a two to three month temporary assignment.

Working hours will be standard day shift with an early finish on Fridays, 40 hour week. Any hours worked over 40 will be at an uplifted overtime rate.

To be considered for these roles you will need to meet the criteria below:

  • Previously worked as a picker packer before.
  • Happy with physical manual roles, including bending and lifting.
  • Numerate and Literate.
  • Ability to decipher pick lists.
  • Strong attention to detail, good with paperwork.
  • Using shrink wrapping machines, boxing items and labelling.
  • Breaking down pallets and placing into stock.
  • Using hand pallet trucks - previous experience ideal but not essential.
  • Can show a stable and steady previous work history.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety and maintaining a clean working area.
