Personnel Selection are assisting one of our clients in sourcing additional Production Operatives based in Andover, Hampshire. The selected candidates will be using electric cutting machines, hand tools, scissors, and industrial guillotines. These roles have become available due to a rapid period of growth. Our client would like proactive and methodical operatives to assist their existing teams on a two to three month temporary assignment.
Working hours will be standard day shift with an early finish on Fridays, 40 hour week. Any hours worked over 40 will be at an uplifted overtime rate.
To be considered for these roles you will need to meet the criteria below:
- Previously worked in an assembly or production background.
- Numerate and literate.
- Ability to decipher work instructions and diagrams.
- Happy to use sharp hand tools and equipment.
- Can show a stable and steady previous work history.
- Able to work in a repetitive environment.
- Strong eyesight, especially with seeing definition of colour.
- Awareness of Health and Safety and maintaining a clean working area.
- Maintain, clean tools and basic machinery to ensure smooth operation.
- Report issues with regards to quality or equipment when needed.
