Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and looking to build your career in e-commerce with a well-established brand? Personnel Selection are looking for an E-Commerce Assistant to join a friendly and collaborative team, supporting the day-to-day running of a busy online business. This is a varied role offering hands-on exposure to product management, website merchandising, photography coordination, digital content and online trading. No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy and has a genuine interest in e-commerce.
Responsibilities
- Uploading new products and maintaining accurate product information
- Managing product descriptions
- Coordinating photography samples and liaising with external suppliers
- Supporting website merchandising and category updates
- Creating and uploading website banners and digital assets
- Assisting with SEO updates, content improvements and online optimisation
- Working closely with buying, marketing and operations teams to meet deadlines
- Supporting wider e-commerce projects and website developments
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy
- Strong written communication skills and excellent written English
- A highly organised and methodical approach to work
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to support the wider team
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a fast-paced e-commerce environment
- Previous experience within online retail, Shopify or e-commerce platforms would be advantageous but is not essential.
