We are an international engineering and manufacturing company who are looking to recruit a Facilities Assistant to join our UK Head Office based in Yateley.
This is initially offered on a 3-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of being extended further.
As driving company vehicles is part of this role, applicants will need to hold a full UK driving licence.

This role would suit a candidate with previous experience working in a hands-on facilities support role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
You will have a good understanding of Health & Safety compliance, including the inspection, testing and maintenance of building systems.
Experience using Planned Maintenance Systems, together with facilities/maintenance administration and compliance record keeping, would be desirable but is not essential.
As the Facilities Assistant, you will help maintain meeting rooms, canteen areas and the wider office environment, ensuring high standards are consistently delivered.
Key duties will include, but are not limited to
- Cleaning and checking coffee machines across the site, ensuring they are kept stocked and that canteen supplies are maintained.
- Assisting with office moves across different locations on the campus, which may involve driving pool vehicles.
- Completing tasks issued through the facilities maintenance request system and updating the relevant online records once work has been completed.
- Taking pool vehicles for servicing or repairs when required.
- Assisting with site waste management, including controlled and hazardous waste.
- Helping to set up meetings in different locations across the site.
- Assisting with larger facilities projects under the supervision of senior members of the team.
- Carrying out site inductions for contractors and, when required, supervising contractors while they are on site.
- Assisting with weekly fire alarm, water and emergency lighting testing.
- Completing basic housekeeping tasks both inside and outside the site.
- Travelling to satellite offices, such as Sparkford, when required to carry out Facilities work.
- Maintaining a safe working environment at all times and demonstrating a clear commitment to Health & Safety, company policies, procedures and statutory legislation.
- Ensuring compliance with company quality and administrative processes and procedures.
To be successful in the Facilities Assistant role, you will have proven experience in a hands-on facilities support role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
You will have the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload, along with experience dealing with contractors and visitors.
You will have a good understanding of Health & Safety and the legislative/statutory requirements relating to asset maintenance.
Good PC skills are also required, particularly in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to export data, produce reports and present information using charts, tables and graphs.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
