As a solution provider, we have been operating in the UK for over 35 years across many industry sectors, including water and pharmaceutical, working with customers worldwide. We have four offices nationally with our Head office in Yateley, Hampshire. We are currently seeking an Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our dynamic team of highly skilled Engineers based at our Yateley site.
The Electrical Systems Design Engineer will be responsible for developing control system solutions, delivery of electrical drawings, identification and procurement scheduling of equipment/components. This role will be working alongside other control system project engineering staff.
The ideal candidate should have relevant qualifications such as an engineering degree or equivalent, experience in electrical design using EPlan, AutoCAD or equivalent and knowledge of automation and control system design.
Working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.15pm and 4pm on Fridays, you will receive a salary of up to £60k plus a full benefit package which includes:
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (raises to 30 days after 5 years of service)
- Private Health Scheme (after 1 year service)
- Death in Service Plan (after 5 years service)
- Pension
- Free onsite parking
The role of Electrical Systems Design Engineer will involve the following:
- Design of control system solutions including PLCs, networks, SCADA/HMI and telemetry systems.
- Authoring and configuring system design documentation, network architecture drawings, electrical drawings and general arrangements.
- Aiding in the production of detailed design specifications including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and System Design Specifications (SDS).
- Identification and procurement scheduling of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
- Managing and completing site surveys.
For the Electrical Systems Design Engineer role you will need to have experience in electrical design using EPlan, AutoCAD or equivalent, knowledge of automation and control system design and knowledge of control panel design and manufacture. You will hold an Electrical Engineering degree ideally. A full clean driving license is also required.
