We’re looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineerto lead our on-site electrical maintenance team. You’ll oversee daily operations, ensure all electrical work meets compliance standards and help maintain safe and reliable production systems.

Benefits include5.5 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), Free on-site parking and an annual salary of up to £57500 depending on experience.

As the new Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll be a qualified, hands-on leader with a strong background in electrical maintenance and compliance who takes pride in maintaining high safety and technical standards while keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities as theSenior Electrical Engineer include:

  • Supervise and coordinate the electrical Teamto meet performance and compliance targets.
  • Lead and promote safe systems of work across all electrical activities.
  • Manageinspection plansand maintenance schedules.
  • Oversee electrical installations in line with BS7671 regulations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, certification, and inspection records are maintained.
  • Support plant reliability by responding to breakdowns and planning follow-up work.
  • Drive continuous improvement and report on key departmental KPIs.
  • Liaise with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Time-served apprenticeship (ONC, NVQ or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • Ideally a Level 3 Electrical qualification
  • 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations knowledge
  • Full UK driving licence and eligible to work in the UK
