A well-established manufacturing company based in Salisbury is looking to recruit an experienced, detail-oriented Financial Controller to join their busy finance team. You’ll take ownership of the financial reporting and control function, supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring accurate and compliant financial operations. Salary for the Financial Controller is up to £43,500 and you will be working full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements in line with reporting deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and manage the year-end audit process.
- Monitor cash flow, balance sheets, and profitability to support business performance.
- Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
- Lead and support the finance team, providing guidance and development where required.
- Work closely with senior management to provide financial insight and support strategic planning.
You will ideally need:
- Proven experience in a financial control or similar role.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
