Dispatch Operative
Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting Dispatch Operative for prestigious catering and hospitality companies based in West London Hounslow.
We are looking for reliable, hardworking and flexible individuals to join busy warehouse and logistics operations. The role involves general warehouse duties and working safely in line with all Health & Safety procedures.
The Role
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Early and late shifts available
- Flexibility with working hours is essential
- Physically demanding role requiring you to remain on your feet for the duration of the shift and heavy lifting
- Warehouse duties, scanning/sealing
- Require good communication skills and computer knowledge
- Working in cold-storage departments
- Full training and support provided where required
- Candidates may be required to complete a trial shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of service to the client
- Work effectively with colleagues to maintain a smooth and efficient operation
- Follow all Health, Safety and hygiene procedures
- Assist with stock control and maintain a clean and organised warehouse
- Follow instructions from supervisors and senior staff
- Always maintain excellent attention to detail
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Right to work in the UK
- Excellent communication skills & computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work mixture of early/late shifts
- Ability to work in cold environments & chillers
- Proof of National Insurance number
- Physical job role
- 5-year work/history information/ HMRC letter
- DBS check/ PCC needed
