Our client, a well established waste management company in Rayleigh, is looking for reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their growing waste and recycling team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 2 drivers seeking stable weekday work with consistent hours and long term prospects. Previous dustcart experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate. The Role:
- Driving a Class 2 dustcart on planned waste and recycling collection routes across Rochford and surrounding areas.
- Drivers will work as part of a crew and may assist loaders when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving an HGV Class 2 dustcart safely and efficiently
- Completing scheduled waste and recycling collections
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Supporting the loading crew when needed
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
